Odor problem resolved in Mt. Pleasant Doctor’s Office

GLS Engineering was called in to investigate a persistent odor problem at a Mt. Pleasant Doctor’s Office. The source of the odor was determined to be bacterial in nature. The odor was most prominent when the air conditioner was running but had already permeated throughout the office and into the walls, furnishings, and carpet. Once the source was determined, GLS was asked to address the odor. Using our SterileStart techniques, the space was treated with chlorine dioxide liquid and gas for immediate odor removal and an active surface and air purifier was installed in the HVAC system. Results: No more odor and a system in place to prevent future bacteria, resulting in a healthier environment.
